Sword & Shield

Life, thy doth a fowl bitch.

Daily I have seen  you try to lure me with countless line, some with some exquisite bait. Agreeved that I did not bite, you continually regrouped and polotted, returning time an time again baring a more solid plan. Scared and bruised I rejoiced in every moment I survived but, soon these battle-scars started becoming my achiles.

Though I were a pawn you toyed with me, woeing me into faulse security, encouraging me to venture out into the world with  no more a timid swored. Complacency  grew within me and you kept to the shadows awaiting the oportune moment to strike. The day finally came, where I willingly stepped into your clutches, and boy did you sink you claws deep. Still I mastered the will to fight my way out and as I ran to my hide out, I swore war on you.

Violent clashes and blood splatter but, still I got stronger, wiser and more aware. Soon over powered, you admitted to defeat, retreated and promised never to show your face.

Humanity lost, I stood strong in Spartac pose, immune to all that came round whether good or bad. Lonliness, followed with haste, etching his name deep with in me then whispering, remember life - he is my friend and you drove him and his riches out, now all that is left is my rotting, aged face.

Knights fell from the heavens and drove Lonliness off, then instilled aoppreciation in me.

Even when things look bleak I have learnt that if you fight with a worthy cause, help is always around the corner.
