Perception Is Not My Identity

Identity is often spoiled by perception.

Often people give perception of who you are.
And often the fall far from the truth.

Their words cling  to you like mucus on a child's face.
Soon you sniff or lick it in.
This poison then starts to defile your identity.
Where once purposed for greatness,
you sell yourself short in an attempt to FIT in.

Denying who you does not necessarily mean you will not be soaked with success.
Nor does it mean that you will not achieve your dreams.
It does, however, mean that you do not have identity.
That you, yourself, have become your own stranger.

Now tell me, how does a spade provide purpose when it sees itself as a hammer.

See identity means you know what is true.
That when your dreams come to pass,
the blessing will be exceedingly, abundantly, above all.
That it will over flow and then you will realize the purpose of your dreams.

Because what are dreams, if they are not meant to be shared.

When you have identity you are able to share yourself with people.
You are able to know what you stand for.
You will stand always on sure footing.
Never wondering what could have been or why has this happened.

In great battles, the easiest way to conquer an enemy is to create confusion.
See when you have no identity, you will have hardships.
The devil has long succeeded in making you obsolete.
Nullifying you impetus in every endeavour.

Identity means you Know who you are, Who you are in you God, Who you are in the world and where your destiny is.
A dream is just a dream, that anyone can realize if they put in adequate effort but, when a dream has identity.
It is has power to transform, to create, to nourish, to raise, to love.

So who are you.
Identity or Perception.
